Need to return an item? Our Returns Portal provides a simple and convenient way to lodge your return online. Our portal can be found on our menu.
Exchange Options
Instant Exchange
Need your replacement item sooner? Our Instant Exchange option allows your new item to be dispatched immediately, without waiting for your return parcel to begin its journey back to us.
When selecting Instant Exchange, you'll be asked to securely provide a payment authorisation to cover the cost of the returning item. You will not be charged, provided the original item is returned within the 14-day timeframe and meets our return policy conditions.
If you opted into an Instant Exchange, please note that you have 14 days to ship your original item back to us. If your return is not received within the 14-day window, your card on file will be charged.
Standard Exchange
If you choose a standard exchange, your replacement item will be processed once your return parcel has been scanned by the shipping carrier and is officially in transit back to us.
This option does not require a payment authorisation; however, dispatch of your exchange item will occur later than an Instant Exchange.
Return Options
Mylk The Label accepts returns for:
- Store Credit: Receive a credit note to use on your next purchase.
- Exchanges: Exchange your item for a different size or style (subject to availability).
Please Note:
We do not offer refunds for returns, except in cases where items are deemed to have a major fault as assessed under ACCC guidelines.
How to Process a Return
- Access Our Returns Portal: Log in to your account to begin your return.
- Select Items: Choose the items you’d like to return and select either a store credit or an exchange.
- Download Your Label: Download and print your return shipping label (or have it printed at a local post office).
- Pack Your Items: Securely package your items. If reusing the original satchel, remove or cover any old shipping labels.
- Drop Off: Lodge your package at your nearest post office. Please note all parcels must be scanned in at the post office for tracking purposes. Any parcels not scanned or not using a Mylk-provided return label will be outside of our responsibility if lost in transit.
Returns Criteria
To ensure a smooth process, returned items must meet the following criteria:
- Be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition.
- Have all tags attached and be free from stains, fragrances, or damage.
- Be securely packed in a satchel to avoid damage during transit.
Important Notes:
- For sets, both pieces must be returned together.
- Final Sale Items: All items labeled as “Final Sale” are not eligible for exchange, store credit, or return.
- Other Sale Items: These can only be exchanged for a store credit.
- We do not accept returns for loose threads or pulls in fabric.
Returns Timeframe
- You have 21 days from your delivery date to return items for a store credit or exchange.
Return Fees
- Return-to-Sender Fee: A $15 fee applies for parcels returned due to incomplete address or failure to collect from the post office, You will also be charged the flat rate cost to reship your order to your location. Free shipping is voided upon return to sender.

“Checkout +” Option: Customers can purchase our “Checkout +” option at checkout for free return shipping to us. This allows you to return your item without incurring additional shipping costs.
- Return Costs: A $9.95 flat rate is charged to obtain a Australia Post return label. This fee is waived, if Checkout + is purchased at the time of placing your order.

Exchanges:
- We honor one free exchange per order, covering the shipping cost of sending the new item back to you.
- If the same order requires more than one return or exchange, subsequent return shipping costs will be at the customer’s expense.
Store Credit
If you'd like a store credit, select the 'Issue Store Credit' option when lodging your return through our portal.
Store credits are issued as Mylk The Label e-Gift cards for the full value of the items returned. The same code can be used across multiple purchases, with your balance updating automatically as you spend.
You can check your remaining balance at any time using the link included in your original credit email.
Multiple store credits can be combined in a single order — just enter each e-Gift card code at checkout.
Please treat store credits like cash as they're non-transferable. Keep your code somewhere safe, as we're unable to replace codes that have been lost or stolen.
Store credits are valid for 3 years from the date they're issued.
Processing Times
Please allow up to 5 business days after we receive your return for it to be processed.
Faulty Items
If you receive a faulty or damaged item:
- Process your return through our portal within 21 days of delivery.
- Include a clear image of the fault for assessment.
Resolution Options:
- We will first attempt to repair or replace the item.
- If a repair or replacement is not possible, we will issue a store credit.
For items with a major fault (as per ACCC guidelines), you may choose a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Please Note:
Care instructions must be followed to maintain the integrity of our fabrics. Items damaged due to improper care (e.g., shrinkage, tearing, or fading) are not eligible for a return, replacement, or credit. For best results, we recommend cold hand washing all Mylk The Label items.
